Ulrika Mårtensson is a designer and textile artist, educated at the School of Architecture at Lund University of Technology and at Textil, Konstfack. Mårtensson works with freelance assignments, material development and artistic design assignments. She has devoted herself to large-scale textile works and development work of sound absorbing textiles for both companies and in connection with public design assignments. Material development and freelance assignments for, among others, Svenskt Tenn, Iris Hantverk and Ludvig Svensson have been completed with collaborative projects with HV Ateljé and resulted in exciting public art projects and acoustics solutions, such as the Royal Opera in Stockholm, or Almgren's Sidenväveri, performed alongside Barolo. Mårtensson is a lecturer in design and spatial design at Konstfack.
